I've never really liked the word 'clutch'. Perhaps it has too many synonyms often smacking of desperation (I.E. clutching at straws). Or maybe I don't like the reminder that having reached 1/4 of a century I STILL cannot drive? Who knows. It is for this reason I've found it tricky to name my latest creation(s). They were made as birthday gifts for Lauren & Lucy. I wanted to make something simple but elegant - reminiscent of the oversized clutches (sigh) that have been doing the rounds of late. Made from grey faux leather and chunky jeans zippers I'm happy with how they turned out. Though next time I'll pick zippers that glide a bit more freely ...
